Amanda Mordhorst

Amanda Mordhorst is a freshman infielder from Ute, IA.  She played shortstop for Charter Oak-Ute high school.  During her high school softball career, her team made it to the Iowa State Softball tournament three years in a row.  One of Amanda's best softball memories was winning the sub-state game in extra innings to qualify for the state tournament for the first time ever.  Being starting shortstop on that team is one of Amanda's biggest softball accomplishments.

Amanda is an accounting major and she works in the BVU business office.  When Amanda is not busy playing softball, studying, and working she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the movies and scrapbooking.  Her favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy and her favorite food is spaghetti.  The size of BV's campus and its location along the lake are what attracted Amanda to BV.

Amanda is the daughter of Michael and Becky Mordhorst.  She has an older brother Trent and a younger sister Kristal.  Trent is a junior at BV.
