Cross Country Teams Running Well

The Cross Country Teams are really looking good as we head into the last 5 weeks of the regular season!  We competed at the Augustana Meet in Davenport, IA this past weekend and had a very good showing!  The Men's team was able to beat conference rivals Simpson, Coe, Cornell and Dubuque easily without our front runner Matt Hanson.  Three of those teams beat us at Conference last year.  The Women's team beat Dubuque, who beat us last year,  as we ran  without top runners Missy Reinhart and Andrea Ahrendsen.  Everyone is healthy and running faster times every week!  This week we are off and are getting ready for the BVU Homecoming 5K on Oct. 6 and the Briar Cliff Open on Oct. 7.  The team is excited for the upcoming Conference Meet on Oct. 27th, and the opportunity to improve off of last years dissapointing finishes.  This years teams are definately going to surprise people!
