Welcome!

Welcome to the BVU softball Coach’s Corner!  We begin practice just ten days from now and things are really starting to get busy around here!  Everyone is very excited for the upcoming season.  We will spend most of February and March practicing in the Lamberti Recreation Center.  We are fortunate to have such an amazing facility here on campus.  The rec center is big enough for us to set up an entire field (which is great since it looks like our field will be covered with snow for a while)!  It also has two batting cages which are ideal for practice!

The 2007 schedule is now complete and posted on the web.  Our season will kick off in Kissimmee, FL on Sunday March 18^th against Hamilton.  This is the first of ten games we will play while in sunny Florida.  When we return back to Iowa we will face Grand View and then jump right into our conference season. 

My assistant coach and I will continue to blog throughout the season and keep you up-to-date on all of the latest softball news!  We will also be posting player bios throughout the month of February.  This will give you a chance to get to know the players on the 2007 team!  We appreciate you reading and we hope you come back to the site!  Go Beavers!
