I have been at BVU since 1991 and now am Professor of Communication Studies and Dean of the School of Communication and Arts. I primarily teach Introduction to Communication Research and Leadership Communication. 

   One of the things I enjoy most about being at BVU is that we serve the student needs directly. I enjoy the close personal contact with students in and outside the classroom. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a faculty member is seeing the growth of students over their time at BVU. In addition to the time I spend on BVU related activities and adventures, I am involved with a variety of community events and my life is made complete with being the “parent” to Bandit, the wonder cat (although he repeatedly demonstrates that he is the master of all kingdoms).
