What do we do in the Psychology Club?
We have a long list of activities, some that we have already done and some that we'd still like to do.
Here's a peek at what we've done:
- Career Day (What you can do with a B.A in psychology.)
- Went to a play in Lincoln, NE & visited with a clinical psychologist on the way.
- Trip to a mental hospital.
- Stress management workshops.
- Hypnosis demonstrations.
- Graduate school application workshops.
- Made and sold personalized Valentine's Day cookies to campus community.
- Co-sponsored the "Fire-walker," a motivational speaker.
- Sang Christmas carols to people in nursing homes.
- Took a trip to Boy's Town and visited a children's hospital on the way.
- Carved pumpkins for the kids at Faith, Hope & Charity
- Took a trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha.
- Took a trip to the Mental Health Institution in Cherokee.
Here's a peek and some things we still want to do:
- Have a psychology club movie night.
- Go bowling.
- Have a Halloween party.
- Take a trip to a sleep lab.
- Take a trip to the Clarinda Treatment Complex.
