The tournament will be held in the brand new Estelle Siebens Science Center @ Buena Vista University; Storm Lake, Iowa

High School Tournament General Information. 

$50.00 base cost per team.

(Please note, due to PETA regulations, each team will pay a minimum of $35.00.)

    -$5.00 off for each additional team. (Thus, two teams = $95.00)

    -$5.00 off for referring another team to our tournament.

    -$5.00 off for each team traveling over 75 miles. (Thus, if you have two teams, coming more than 75 miles each, you will only pay $80.00)

    -$5.00 off for each team bringing their own working buzzer system. (Bring it, and whether or not it is used, you still get the discount.)

    -Crazy Deductions...If your whole team does any of the following, you will get a discount at check-in.

        -Bring a mascot, inanimate object...or someone dressed as a mascot.

        -Duct tape, gaff tape name tags.

        -Different colored socks.

        -Themed hats

        -Face/Body Pain

        -Singing a song to the BVU Quiz Bowl Exec. Board (We like barbershop)

        -Um...do something else creative.
