My name is Brittany Goede. I'm 19 and a first-year student at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. My interests are varied and sundry, but I love to read both books (usually fantasy novels, but I like histories, too) and comics, watch movies, watch TV, listen to music, play music, and spend time with my friends.

Some of my favorite movies are Goodfellas, Dogma, Girl, Interrupted, Edward Scissorhands, Blow, The Constant Gardener, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars IV, V, VI, Velvet Goldmine, anything by Martin Scorsese, Ed Wood, The Pianist, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Aviator, Sideways, Amelie, and Monty Python (anything by).

My favorite directors are Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, the Coen brothers, Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, and Alfred Hitchcock.

My favorite actors include Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Viggo Mortensen, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jake Gyllenhal, Bill Murray, Ewan McGregor, Michael Rosenbaum, Robert Duvall, and Dustin Hoffman.

My favorite actresses include Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson, Anna Paquin, Audrey Tautou, Angelina Jolie, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Katherine Hepburn, and Kate Winslet.

My favorite TV shows are Sports Night, The West Wing (first 4 seasons), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Stargate: Atlantis, Highlander, Conan, The Daily Show, Gilmore Girls, Lois & Clark, Will & Grace, and Seinfeld.

Music

The following are just a few of my favorite bands: David Bowie, Placebo, HIM, The Sex Pistols, Alanis Morissette, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, The Darkness, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Wilco, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and the late, great Jeff Buckley.

Books

Some of my favorite authors are Tolkein, Madeline L'Engle, Tamora Pierce, Neil Gaiman, Lynn Fwelling, Carol Berg, and Jacqueline Carey. A few of my favorite books are The Agony and the Ecstasy, The Once and Future King, The Little Prince, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
